Seize the Sky on iBooks Soon
I've started porting my book, Seize the Sky: A Builder's Guide to Model Rocketry, to the iBooks format for the Apple iPad. I was originally against the idea of doing this because I really like the feel of a real book. However, the latest version of iBooks has added many new features and the iBooks Author program makes the creation of iBooks much easier so I thought I'd give it a try.
I have to admit that I'm really starting to like the electronic book format. Being able to link to external content is very nice. It's also nice to be able to include more active content like interactive images and video clips. If you have an iPad and you're into model rocketry, I hope you'll consider adding my book to your library when it is complete.
